About Replika Press: Launched in 1995, Replika is a young dynamic and fast growing printing company in Kundli, Haryana, India. It had a modest beginning as letterpress typesetter for advanced scientific mathematical books. Growing by leaps and bounds, the organization felt the requirement for an integrated system to bring efficiency and streamline their work processes. They had tried their hands on a home grown ERP; then subsequently evaluated & finalized on Visnova Solutions Pvt Ltd. to deploy SAP Business One & ShopBlocks in their organization. Replika Press went live on ShopBlocks early June.

Replika Press is utilizing the following functionalities of ShopBlocks on their shop floor:

1.Complete Work Order process.
2.Routing techniques.
3.Material Purchase Order creation through ShopBlocks for the shortages on Work Orders.
4.Work Order details at Purchase Order level.
5.Complete costing for WIP and Finished Goods.
6.Rework and Scrap functionality.  
7.Work Order and Router printouts for shop floor supervisors.
Dimension Project Version 3.20.6 released
Dimension Project Management has released a new patch wherein you can work with more than one Project databases. When you install the program, one project database is created named Dimension Project. You can take a backup and restore it under a different name as you require for example to name it after the company and have more than one Project database.
Patch 03 of bizPayroll Ver 1.2.4 released
The new patch has following enhancements & updates:
Functional enhancements
  • Salary re-calculation after salary processed but before JV posting
  • OT Reports - Summary & Detail.
  • For all ESI Forms, ESI Number and for all PF Forms, PF Number is mandatory.
  • ESI Form6:
    • One more Column added as “whether still continues working and drawing wages within the insurable wage ceiling”.
    • ESI Form 6 name has been changed to ESI Form5.
    • ESI Form5 is now in Ascending Order based on ESI Number.
  • ESI Statement / Monthly Register:
    • Now ESI Statement is in Ascending Order based on ESI Number.
    • Employee-wise details of Employer Contribution column have been eliminated.
  • PF Form 9(Revised): In date of Joining Pension scheme
    • If the Employee's joining date is before or on 16-11-1995 & the date in the above column is 16-11-1995. The same date will appear in the below column “Date of joining the Employees Provident Fund Scheme”.
    • Now report is based on PF Account Number in Ascending Order.
    • Column Name of Date and Reason of Service now has been changed to Date and Reason of leaving the service.
  • PF Form 12A – Format and Amount Bifurcations has been changed.
  • Salary Slip:
    • Wage Period is shown instead of Present Days.
    • The salary slip of two employees will be now available in a single sheet.
  • One more selection criteria to fill the Bank have been arranged in the order of Account Number in Ascending Order in Disbursement Statement.
  • Leave Encashment can now be Based on threshold limit days and also a Journal Voucher can be Posted for the Encashment of Leaves.
  • Conveyance can now also be calculated for Holidays & Sundays.
Product updates
  • OT Calculations: OT calculation of hours would begin from ‘end shift time’ to ‘day end timing’.
  • For ESI & PF, Basis Formula is mandatory. All ESI calculations are computed on Ceiling and PF calculations is computed on Commercial Round Off.
  • Now the Basis Formula Screen also includes following fields for creating the Formula :
    • Process Days (Processing Days) : This fields calculates the Process Cycle Days defined in the Payroll Detail Screen for the month.
    • Payable Days (Payable Days) : Payable Days fields calculates the number of days for which wages are paid for the month.
    • Leave Days (Leave Days): This field calculates the total number of Leaves in the month for which wages has been given to the employee.
    • Holidays: This field calculates the total number of weekends and Paid Holidays.
  • Full & Final Settlement :
    • Journal Voucher get Posted now.
    • The calculations of Full & Final Settlement include Arrear Amount, PT Amount is now calculated from Professional Tax Slabs and VPF Amount is also included.
